STUDENT-LED UGC & MOTION GRAPHICS SHOWCASE

Had the chance to bridge campus energy with local business growth without breaking a single safeguarding rule. I teamed up with Middlesex students and alumni to create authentic, high-energy content for a café right next to uni, while navigating strict policies on student imagery. The result? Real buzz, real footfall, and a playbook for compliant creativity.

  • Co-created UGC with current students: Guided a group of 12 volunteers to film quick phone clips (with full consent + anonymized faces) of their fave study spots and coffee orders turned into Reels that felt like a mate’s recommendation. Outcome: +28% weekend foot traffic and 18K organic views in the first month.

  • Tapped alumni for trust-building stories: Reached out to recent grads via LinkedIn and WhatsApp groups—gathered 8 polished testimonials (photos + voice notes) about “where I revised for finals.” Repurposed into carousels and Stories that drove +35% tagged check-ins from their networks.

  • Motion graphics as the safeguarding hero: When direct student footage was off-limits, I built animated avatars and trendy text overlays synced to trending audio. → Demo video below (in Persian) – I walk through the exact After Effects workflow: from placeholder characters to final export. (Note: Video is in Persian ) → Result: These motion-rich Reels still hit 22% average engagement rate (vs. brand’s usual 9%) and kept the vibe young + safe.

  • Ran a 3-week takeover calendar mixing student UGC drops, alumni throwbacks, and animated “did you know?” facts about the café’s student discount—overall account reach jumped 42% and saved the owner £800 in paid ads.
